We got to thinking (we do that sometimes)... and asked ourselves: How can we make this years VC Student Poker Championships Final even better? Then it dawned on us... film the final table and broadcast it on TV.  After all, every poker player needs a little fame to go with their fortune.
 
So... to kick things up a notch or two, we’ve moved the final online to accommodate the larger number of players and have scheduled a televised final table for the following Friday night.

The final will be played online on Sunday 25th June 2006 at 19:30GMT (up to the final 6 - when play will be stopped).  Then the final 6 players will be invited to face off at The Poker Bowl in the PokerZone Television studios in downtown London on Friday 30th June 2006.  With a $50,000 prize pool up for grabs and the winner walking away with a cool $15,000 -it should make for one riveting poker championship.
